- There is a more powerful version of this same ring, it's the Superior Magic Ring.
- Despite looking weak (and in fact it is), it can be very useful to use this ring to train on stronger monsters, especially if used in conjunction with a Necklace such as Magic Necklace or Superior Magic Necklace.
